Report – Ex-UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov allegedly owes the Russian Federal Tax Service $3.3 million


Khabib Nurmagomedov appears to have serious problems with the Russian Federal Tax Service.

According to Mash, Russian authorities have suspended several accounts associated with various UFC Hall of Fame businesses, including the Eagle FC charity and other companies. It is also reported that Nurmagomedov may have used the money he allegedly did not pay to the Russian state to buy hotels and startups in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

In total, Orel owed 306 million rubles, or $3.3 million.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is still one of the richest MMA stars in the world.

After compiling an undefeated 29-0 record and capturing the UFC lightweight world title in the process, Khabib Nurmagomedov left the Octagon following the death of his father. Since then, he has launched many businesses. Dietary supplements, a restaurant chain, hotels and his own mixed martial arts commercials, to name a few.

Nurmagomedov has reportedly come to the attention of Russian tax authorities after relinquishing ownership of several firms, with his relatives and close associates allegedly remaining at the helm in some cases. The RFTS launched an investigation into the former MMA star and reportedly found numerous irregularities in documents related to the closure of businesses.

According to the South China Morning Post, Nurmagomedov is one of the richest current or former MMA fighters in the world, with a net worth of $40 million.
