Combo Breaker and Common Goals Soccer return to the Schaumburg Memorial Day weekend

Meet Chicago Northwest (MCNW) is welcoming Combo Breaker back to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center May 24 to 26 and Common Goals Soccer Memorial Day Challenge to Olympic Park May 24 to 27. The two events will bring thousands of visitors from across the globe to Schaumburg and the Northwest Suburbs through the holiday weekend.

Combo Breaker is an eSports tournament returning to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center for the fourth year. The nonstop, three-day mashup entertainment event is a unique broadcast program blending fighting game matches, content creators, musicians, interviewers and skit artists from around the world into one program. Since 2021, Combo Breaker has grown to over 4,000 attendees. Every year has featured a larger production than the last with impressive audio and visual displays.

The Common Goals Soccer Memorial Day Challenge, held at Schaumburg's Olympic Park, is a soccer tournament featuring over 350 teams from across the country. Teams of various skill levels will compete on the vast expanse of fields spanning over 500 thousand square feet. Located at one of the state's top-ranked parks, it promises intense head-to-head battles between teams.
