Dustin Poirier's prediction for Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler at UFC 303 – Mixed Martial Arts

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will face each other in the main event of UFC 303. Dustin Poirier has given his prediction for this fight.

Conor McGregor will return to the cage after 3 years. On June 29, during the main event at UFC 303, the Irishman will face current lightweight number 6, Michael Chandler. The fight should take place among the welterweights (welterweight), where the limit is set at less than 77 kg. The 'Notorious' last confrontation was on July 10, 2021, when he fractured his tibia in his trilogy with Dustin Poirier. Furthermore, the latter gave his prediction for McGregor vs. Chandler.

McGregor vs. Chandler: Dustin Poirier's prediction

It was during a recent interview with Fox News Digital that Dustin Poirier discussed the main event from UFC 303.

“Like all the other fans, I was waiting to see if this was going to happen and if they were going to announce the fight and the date” said Poirier. “I think if Conor gets back to a similar level to where he was before his injury, in terms of timing and movement, I think he's going to knock Michael Chandler out. “It’s just a bad matchup for Chandler.”

Conor still needs to be well prepared. A few weeks before the event, he was spotted in a nightclub. Dustin Poirier, for his part, will make his return to competition this weekend. On Saturday night, he will face reigning lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in the main event of UFC 302.
