Golf: the 1st men’s team advances to the 4th national division

On May 25 and 26, the players of the men’s team 1 of the Château d’Allot golf course competed in an inter-regional team promotion competition on the Rochefort Océan golf course (Charente-Maritime).

The Rochefort golf course hosted this competition for the first time since the opening of its 18-hole course last year.

Third in the competition

With a slope exceeding 150, this golf course ranks among the five most difficult golf courses in France.

A hell of a challenge for the Boetian players who quickly realized, during the reconnaissance of the course, that the task was going to be complicated, this course having the characteristic of leaving no moment of respite for the players.

After a first day where the scores oscillated between very good (77, 79, 83) and more difficult moments (93, 102, 108), the team placed 4th out of 16 teams entered. Contract fulfilled since 4 teams move up to the higher division, we just have to reproduce the same performance the next day.

The next day, the players had to stay focused because the wind added to the already very difficult playing conditions. Despite everything, they achieved their goals

The 1 men’s team from Château d’Allot finally finished 3rd. This great performance allows it to access the 4th national division for next season.
