Saint-Jean-Lespinasse. Golf team 1 moves up to the 4th national division

Team 1 of the Montal golf course played on May 25 and 26, the national promotion championship at the Rodez golf course. After a good first place during the first day of stroke play in front of the Rodez premises, the Montal team placed itself at the end of the second day in 3rd place, out of thirteen teams, and reached the 4th national division for the ‘next year. Montal’s team 1 has returned to this rank since its last participation in 2019 and joins the senior team 1 which also moved up to the 3rd national division last year. Congratulations to the entire team made up of: Marceau Duchène, Samuel Lavaud, Mathéo Mauret, Benjamin Pastre, Julien Pramil-Marroncle, Alex Pollock, Grégory Lavaud, Didier Loty (absent Antonin Rio, Paul Gambade and Thomas Couzi). Let us mention in particular its captain Marceau Duchène, author of a superb score of -5 (only one stroke from the course record) on the first day, and the young people from the golf school, Samuel Lavaud (15 years old) and Mathéo Mauret (18 years old) who performed during the two rounds. Everyone appreciated the support of Daniel Martinazzo (Montal golf pro) and Didier Loty (president of the Sports Commission), and of course the welcome from the Rodez golf course during these two days of competition.
