Donald Trump made a remarkable entrance UFC 302 earlier this evening (Saturday June 1, 2024) live on ESPN+ PPV from inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, as the former President of the United States exited to a standing ovation alongside UFC CEO Dana White before taking his usual seat at the edge of the cage.

Trump, who was just convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records during the 2016 election, let fans know he would be coming to UFC 302 with an early evening message on Truth Social (shown below). The former president hasn’t said when he will head to the Octagon, but it will still be a nice addition to an event already filled with star power.

Trump, known for witness some of the biggest UFC cards, wasn’t going to miss tonight’s event in Newark. UFC 302 is pretty packed from top to bottom, including a main event showdown between UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and future Hall of Famer Dustin Poirier. Not to mention a co-headliner featuring former UFC middleweight king Sean Strickland and Brazilian powerhouse Paulo Costa.
