This Sunday evening at 4 Chênes the MMA gala of the TM Fight Club club took place. On the program, around twenty amateur fights which surprised by the level displayed. A look back at this evening which paid a wonderful tribute to the discipline.
The second edition of the gala organized by the Amiens club was a great success. The level displayed by the amateur fighters was way above expectations. The atmosphere was also great in the stands. The referees were also up to standard, since no decision was questioned after the fights. Tarik Merras looks back on the evening: “It’s an event that wants to shine Amiensthis shows that we can still develop and do things lives up to expectations. Everybody is happy. I didn't expect one level so high fighters tonight. He also adds that the atmosphere is what we expected, thanks to Amiens Métropole, we were able to a great event. I thank the volunteers who help us make a good image so that our sponsors can see that our galas are very well organized. We try to improve the image of MMA by showing that it is a technical sport and not just fighting ».
Antonin Petit, a home victory
One person from Amiens particularly stood out, due to his performance and the enthusiasm it aroused. This is Antonin Petit, French judo champion. He beat his opponent on a arm lock after a takedown which demonstrated his judoka talents. “This victory comes after a Good preparation which completed my judo basics. My 17 years of practice have helped me a lot. Today I'm turning to MMA and for now, it bears fruit. It was my first fight, so I tried to bring people. I let myself go competition after competition and we will see where will it take me“ welcomes the young fighter.
