Roiffé: a day of golf for research against childhood cancer


A day of golf in support of research against childhood cancers took place on Sunday May 12 at the Loudun-Fontevraud golf course in Roiffé. This was the fourth edition of the Loudun Lions Club Golf Trophy, for the benefit of the Children, Cancers and Health and Lions Sport Action associations (Lisa)

On this occasion, five players benefited from an initiation offered by Jean-Marc Warot, golf teacher. Thirty-seven competitors competed on the course in three mixed heats. The top three in each series are selected for the regional competition which will take place on October 6.

Donations and registrations combined, nearly €3,500 was collected.

The first in the rankings. First series: Michel Baert, from Loudun; second series: Oliviers Barnes, from Poitiers; third series: Jean-Jacques Lejeune.
