Boxing: the Balarucois Olympic Ring is ready to enter the arena

“Team Perez” has been working hard for several weeks. This Saturday, from 6 p.m., she will be present at the boxing gala organized in the Aimargues arenas, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Boxing Club Montpellier.

Robert Perez will thus compete in his fifth fight since his official resumption last January. A family affair since the boxer will have two other Perez in his corner, namely Frédéric and Sandro.

He will fight his fight in three three-minute rounds, against William Walpole (69 kg) of BC Avignon, an opponent who has five victories and two defeats in seven fights.

The goal of this fight will be to move up to the Elite level and thus be able to enter the Occitanie championship, for the sports season which will begin in September 2024. To be continued.

Robert Perez will not be the only Balarucois to represent his club, since the program also includes Baptiste Airaud (62 kg). He will fight in the junior category, in three two-minute rounds, against a resident of BC Montpellier.
