A design inspired by nature

No more mundane golf carts! The EK, the result of a collaboration between AZULIK Real Estate and Roth FabLab, is an electric vehicle with a futuristic silhouette which promises to redefine luxury urban mobility – especially from a design point of view. This vehicle draws inspiration from the organic forms of nature and architecture.

Forget straight lines and sharp angles: the EK is adorned with elegant and surprising curves, shaped in fiberglass and painted with automotive paint. Although some describe this cart as an ode to nature, others can't get the image of a pair of Yeezy Foams or a pair of Balenciagas out of their heads..

Far from being limited to aesthetics, the EK is also intended to be durable and comfortable. Its interior is covered in a waterproof nautical fabric, as luxurious as the finest leather. Touches of zapote wood, a Central American species known for its strength, add additional sophistication.

A high-tech interior and decent performance

A digital instrument cluster and yoke-shaped wooden steering wheel propel the EK into the modern era. Three seats are available: two forward-facing passenger seats and a rear-facing driver's seat. The latter seem almost tilted, which may seem strange from a practical point of view. A wooden center console, covered in the same fabric as the seats, includes two cup holders, a phone space with wireless charging and… an air humidifier – something surprising for a completely open vehicle.

Furthermore, the EK is powered by a 2,200 W electric motor capable of reaching a maximum speed of 40 km/h. Its battery offers an estimated range of 100 km per charge, and fully recharges in eight hours. These figures may seem modest, but we must not forget the primary purpose of the EK: a luxury cart intended for use in a closed environment. In this context, the autonomy and speed are more than sufficient.

For now, the EK only exists in one prototype. AZULIK Real Estate plans to build more if the tests prove successful. But even without mass production, the EK has already won its bet: that of making people talk about it.
