(Constance Women's Golf Day) The 6th edition of the 100% women's golf tournament welcomes 44 participants

A 6th edition that kept all its promises! The Women's Golf Day, organized at the Legend Golf Course at Constance Belle Mare Plage, on May 31, was a great success with the participation of 44 golfers. Mauritians Sabrina Ramdin and Ruchita Carpen won the tournament with 17 points, followed by Lily Tin and Josiane Rey with 15 points, while Iana Vroublevskaia and Maria Torres took third place with 15 points. Every year, this event is celebrated around the world to encourage the practice of this sport among women. In Mauritius, Constance Hotels, Resorts & Golf is the only one to be affiliated with Women's Golf Day, whose association is based in Florida.

The Women's Golf League is a growing event welcoming more and more participants each year, demonstrating that more women are interested in golf. Moreover, the objective of Women's Golf Day is to contribute to the growth of this sport by offering women around the world the opportunity to learn golf regardless of their demographic origin. The event not only celebrates the prowess of female athletes, but also champions gender parity and community engagement through sport. In parallel with the tournament, initiations were offered in order to attract more women to this sport, thus sharing the passion for golf and reinforcing the idea that golf is open and welcoming to all.
