Havertz sidelined until January due to knee injury
Arsenal forward Kai Havertz is experiencing a new complication in his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained at the beginning of the season, as reported by Daily Mail.
The Germany international encountered this setback during a training session last month, and it is being suggested that he will not be back before the New Year. Havertz might be ready to join the matchday squad for the game against Liverpool on January 8, although the FA Cup third round match against Portsmouth on January 11 appears to be a more suitable target for his return. The former Chelsea player had an impressive first half of the 2024/25 season, netting 15 goals and seemed poised for a campaign tally of 25-30 goals with the Gunners. However, he suffered a serious hamstring injury in February, which kept him out until May. Currently, he is dealing with a persistent knee issue. Havertz sustained the injury during a match against Manchester United away in August, and it is hoped that he can make his comeback next month without any further delays.
