The previous Roma manager Claudio Ranieri claims he was ‘fortunate’ to ascend the Serie A rankings with the Giallorossi last season while acknowledging he still has ‘numerous’ aspirations to achieve. Ranieri addressed journalists in Rome on Saturday morning, shortly ahead of Juventus-Roma. A journalist pointed out that the former coach has become a unifying figure for Italy. I still have many, but one must dedicate effort to achieve them.” Ranieri took on the role of Roma coach in November 2024, succeeding Ivan Juric and managed to steer the Giallorossi back on course, coming close to securing Champions League entry.
