Arne Slot’s Liverpool has put forth a €70 million proposal to acquire Real Madrid midfield prodigy Eduardo Camavinga. The defending champions Liverpool have faced a challenging start to the season. While they’ve begun to improve after an underwhelming beginning and currently sit fourth in the standings, Arne Slot has pinpointed several areas needing reinforcement.
Liverpool aims to secure Camavinga as midfield support
While the team seeks to bolster their offense amid uncertainties regarding Mohamed Salah’s future and Alexander Isak’s injury, the Reds are also focused on enhancing their midfield quality. Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga is a prime target, and as per a report from Fichajes, the Merseyside outfit has already made a €70 million offer for the French international.
Liverpool is on the hunt for a multifaceted midfielder capable of challenging Ryan Gravenberch for a starting position and filling in various roles. The Reds have maintained a long-term interest in Camavinga, who is deemed an ‘extraordinary‘ talent by former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
