Danilo to Acknowledge Juventus Supporters One Year After Tense Departure
Danilo, who previously played for Juventus, will be present in the stands during the Serie A match against Lecce, finally having the chance to greet the fans one year post his contentious exit. The match is set to commence at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin on Saturday at 17.00 GMT (18.00 CET). As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Danilo is anticipated to be there to support former teammate Gleison Bremer in his 100th appearance for the Bianconeri. While the supporters are sure to extend a warm welcome to the experienced player, the club has not organized any formal salute or pitchwalk for him. Danilo felt sidelined by Juventus.

He found himself benched and was urged to accept a transfer back to Brazil with Flamengo. Danilo donned the Juventus jersey from August 2019 to January 2025, racking up 213 competitive appearances for the Old Lady. Both Thiago Motta and Giuntoli have since been dismissed, leading to a completely new leadership structure.
