Havertz to miss Liverpool matchup
Arsenal forward Kai Havertz will not feature in the Premier League encounter versus Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
The Germany international has not taken the field for the Gunners since suffering a knee injury at Old Trafford against Manchester United in August. He has been involved in full training in recent weeks, and manager Mikel Arteta mentioned that he would be part of the matchday squad against the Reds. However, Havertz has not been seen during the pre-match walk, raising significant doubts about his availability to face Liverpool tonight. Viktor Gyokeres is expected to spearhead the attack for Arsenal, with Gabriel Jesus potentially coming off the bench around the hour mark to replace the Swede. Although Gyokeres hasn’t been consistently finding the net for the London club, he remains a preferred option upfront due to his strong pressing and physical style of play.
