Algeria vs Sudan: AFCON 2025 confirmed starting line-ups and teams

On Wednesday, Algeria and Sudan will kick off their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group E journey in Rabat.

Les Fennecs are viewed as serious contenders for the title but have faced elimination in the group stages for two consecutive tournaments since securing their second championship in 2019.

Sudan lifted the trophy in 1970 but has only made one appearance since 2012, where they were eliminated after three matches in 2021.

Al-Duhail forward Adel Boulbina and Redouane Berkane from Al-Wakrah are making their first appearances at the finals, while Marseille’s Amine Gouiri is sidelined due to shoulder surgery.
