Bernardeschi concerns Bologna with Supercoppa Italiana injury against Inter

Bologna is anxiously awaiting updates on Federico Bernardeschi, who had to exit the match after 40 minutes due to what appeared to be an injury to his shoulder or collarbone during the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Inter on Friday evening. Concerns arise as Bernardeschi may have dislocated his shoulder during the Bologna vs. Inter match. The 31-year-old, who made a return to Serie A this summer after spending three years with Toronto FC, was a starting player for Bologna’s clash with Inter. Shortly after, Bernardeschi fell badly on his shoulder while contesting for the ball and signaled for medical assistance immediately. Orsolini was overheard calling to the bench that Bernardeschi had likely fractured his shoulder. He managed to walk off the field, holding his left collarbone instead of his shoulder. Initial assessments indicate a possible clavicle fracture. He was substituted by Jonathan Rowe in the 40th minute.
