Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea will kick off their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group E matches on Wednesday in Casablanca.
The Stallions reached the finals in 2013 and qualified for this year’s tournament finishing second behind Senegal, including a 1-1 tie against the 2021 champions in Dakar.
Equatorial Guinea secured eight points from six qualifying matches to progress behind Algeria, with whom they played to a 0-0 draw in Malabo.

Lorient’s left-back Arsene Kouassi and Hearts striker Landry Kabore are making their AFCON debuts for Burkina Faso.
