Leeds United forward Joel Piroe has been the subject of transfer rumors recently. As per a report from The Guardian (h/t MOT Leeds News), Leeds United finds itself in a position where they may need to offload some players to ensure financial stability. They face pressure due to PSR, with a deadline of 30th June to make necessary sales to stay balanced. Leeds might consider selling Joel Piroe this month, and it remains uncertain where he will end up. The club signed the 26-year-old Dutch forward for roughly £10 million in 2023. It appears unlikely that they will manage to recoup that amount for him. Accepting a loss on his transfer and allowing him to leave seems probable. It will be intriguing to see if they can negotiate a fair fee for him. They must recover a decent sum from this transaction, or it won’t positively impact their PSR status.

He has previously demonstrated his capabilities in the championship, and a return to the second tier of English football could be advantageous for him. In addition, Leeds United might also consider offloading Illan Meslier. The goalkeeper has faced challenges in securing consistent playtime in the Premier League and requires a change. Remaining on the bench at Leeds will not serve his interests. Furthermore, the English club should aim to part ways with players who are not contributing to their plans in order to maintain financial health.
