Liverpool make fresh transfer decision on Marc Guehi

Liverpool are not interested in securing Marc Guehi on a long-term contract during the current transfer period.
The Reds came close to acquiring the England international last summer. He completed a medical with the club, but Crystal Palace canceled the deal at the last moment on deadline day. Guehi has continued to perform magnificently in the Eagles’ colors, yet he may depart this winter due to his contract expiring next summer. Manchester City are willing to invest heavily to obtain his services. Liverpool also has a strong interest in signing him, but the Reds have made it clear that they would rather wait for a free transfer next summer instead of overpaying for him now. Arsenal holds a similar viewpoint regarding Guehi, leaving the final choice to the player. Palace appears open to selling him to Man City for £40 million if he agrees to personal terms with the Cityzens.
