Mainoo poised for a move?
Manchester United is ready to allow Kobbie Mainoo to depart this winter under one condition, as reported by Sky Sports.
The young talent has fallen out of favor with manager Ruben Amorim this season and has not yet made a start in the Premier League. Consequently, he is eager to secure a loan transfer in January. The academy product is aiming to push for a spot in the World Cup. It’s now being reported that United would be willing to let Mainoo go as early as January if they receive an ‘exceptional’ offer. Mainoo believes he still has a future at Old Trafford, but he might begin to consider his prospects as the club looks for new midfield players. Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson are identified as key targets for the upcoming summer transfer window. The club is also looking into the option of acquiring Ruben Neves for a reduced fee in January, given that his contract with Al-Hilal will end next summer.
