Man Utd uninterested in Neves
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is not currently pursuing a transfer for Al-Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Red Devils have made recent inquiries with super-agent Jorge Mendes, which sparked rumors about a potential move for Neves. Neves is also a client of Mendes, but Romano has made it clear that there has been no formal offer from the Manchester club at this time. The Portuguese player’s contract with Al-Hilal will conclude at the season’s end, and he could be sold for merely £18 million at the start of the new year. Neves aspires to make a return to the Premier League. United has had longstanding interest, yet no offer has materialized to date. In the meantime, Romano indicated that United has been in discussions with Mendes about various young prospects rather than focusing on Neves. Additionally, Neves has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, who may have a clear path to acquiring the 28-year-old this winter.
