Arteta discusses Arsenal duo

Arsenal’s head coach Mikel Arteta has announced that two of the club’s defenders will be unavailable for the upcoming Premier League match against Bournemouth away from home tomorrow.

The Gunners have increased their lead at the top of the table following a dominant 4-1 victory over Aston Villa earlier this week. Manchester City failed to replicate that performance, settling for a goalless draw against Sunderland. Consequently, the north London team sits four points ahead of the Cityzens and could temporarily widen that gap to seven with a win at the Vitality Stadium tomorrow. In preparation for the match, Arteta shared that Cristhian Mosquera and Riccardo Calafiori will not play due to ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively. Additionally, Declan Rice is still recovering from knee swelling and will be evaluated in the next 24 hours before a final call regarding his participation is made. Arsenal faced a 2-0 defeat to the Cherries in their away game last season after a red card to William Saliba, and they will be looking to turn that result around.
