Napoli is considering a surprising transfer for Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are presently lacking depth in the midfield area, with Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, and Mason Mount sidelined due to injuries. This situation has opened the opportunity for Ugarte to partner with Casemiro in the middle of the field, but his future may lie elsewhere. Reports suggest that Napoli has taken an interest in acquiring Ugarte, even as they had been previously linked with Kobbie Mainoo over recent months. United appears unlikely to approve a mid-season transfer. Mainoo, Fernandes, and Mount could return soon, but the club does not foresee any departures.
