Is Solskjaer on his way back to Man Utd?
The former manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has suggested the possibility of an unexpected return to the club this month, as reported by Manchester World.
The Norwegian has been without a role since his ousting at Besiktas. He received several proposals from clubs in the Championship, but he is aiming for a more significant position elsewhere. Reports now indicate that Solskjaer may be open to stepping back into the Red Devils as a caretaker manager until May after the club’s decision to let go of Ruben Amorim. Amorim had led the team to sixth place in the Premier League this season, but the management was not pleased with the results and opted to make a change. Solskjaer had a level of success with an attacking style during his time with the Red Devils, and the board might be swayed to bring him on board temporarily until the summer. It is anticipated that the Red Devils will seek a new manager next summer.
