The Patriots will be missing Rhamondre Stevenson and Kayson Boutte on TNF in Week 11

After ten games in the 2025 season, the New England Patriots have already achieved twice as many victories as in 2024. Last year, the Patriots concluded with a 4-13 record. As they approach Week 11, New England stands at 8-2 in 2025.
Second-year quarterback Drake Maye is performing at an MVP caliber, and the organization has gained more consistency with Mike Vrabel as the head coach. On Thursday Night Football for Week 11, the Patriots will host the 2-7 New York Jets. The team will be missing two significant offensive contributors. Both Rhamondre Stevenson and Kayson Boutte are sidelined due to injuries.

At the start of 2025, Rhamondre Stevenson has served as the starting running back for the Patriots. He has sat out the last two consecutive games for New England due to a toe injury. NFL insiders have confirmed that the 27-year-old will not play on TNF in Week 11 against the Jets. This marks his third consecutive game missed for the Patriots. With Stevenson sidelined, rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson has stepped in as the starter. The second-round draft pick showcased his skills with a standout performance in Week 10 against the Buccaneers.
Henderson tallied 14 carries for a record-setting 147 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. His prior best was 75 rushing yards in Week 8. TreVeyon Henderson appears poised to be the RB1 of the future for the Patriots. Nevertheless, NFL insiders have indicated that the team plans to rely on veteran Rhamondre Stevenson once he returns to full health. If Henderson has another impressive outing on TNF versus the Jets, New England may reconsider their choice.

In addition, the Patriots will be without third-year WR Kayson Boutte in Week 11. He missed his first game of the 2025 season in Week 10 because of a hamstring issue. Boutte started 13 games for the Patriots in 2024 and played in 15 games overall. The former sixth-round selection wrapped up the previous year with 43 receptions for 589 yards and three touchdowns. After nine games in the 2025 season, Kayson Boutte has accumulated 23 receptions for 431 yards and five touchdowns.
The 23-year-old has begun the season in a much more effective manner in 2025. He has emerged as a deep threat for Drake Maye, who is 13-17 on passes that went at least 20 yards in the air. Kayson Boutte has been on the receiving end of several of those deep completions. Unfortunately, Boutte will be absent for his second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury in Week 11. New England still has Stefon Diggs, Demario Douglas, Mack Hollins, and Kyle Williams available as options.
