With the January transfer window nearing, it’s time to reflect on the costliest transfers made by Serie A clubs throughout history. Fiorentina’s sale of Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus during the winter of 2022 stands as the highest transfer fee and also the most significant acquisition by a Serie A side. The Serbian forward is still under the four-and-a-half year deal he signed back then, which is now set to terminate at the conclusion of the ongoing season. A fresh addition to this list comes in at number two, after Napoli transferred Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain last winter.
