Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship in a 4-Approach Match in opposition to Hangman Web page, Orange Cassidy and Jay White on the Worlds Finish pay-per-view.
The match happened after the opening tag group match on the 12/11 AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming episode, which featured Moxley and PAC vs. Cassidy & White. Hangman Web page ran in throughout the match, attacking Moxley after which shoving Cassidy to the nook after he tried to drag him (Web page)off of Moxley. Consequently the match resulted in a disqualification. Cassidy then went after Web page, however accidently hit White with an Orange Punch. After Cassidy hit Web page, White dropped Cassidy with a Blade Runner. The Demise Riders, minus Claudio Castagnoli, then attacked Hangman, Cassidy and White, leaving them mendacity within the ring. to assault Moxley for the DQ and shoved off Cassidy who tried to drag him off.
In a backstage phase, Moxley stated he would give Hangman, Cassidy and White a title shot, in a four-way at Worlds Finish.
The opposite matches set for Worlds Finish is the AEW Continental Basic Semifinals and Finals and MJF defending the Dynamite Diamond Ring in opposition to Adam Cole.
